First COVID-19 Update

First, our prayers are with the countless families who have been affected by the novel coronavirus, especially in our hard-hit city of Detroit. This pandemic has been nothing short of difficult for essential workers, healthcare workers, vulnerable residents, and their families that take care of them. We hold hope that strength and caring for one another will carry us through the continuation of this pandemic.

At Wonder Falafel, we have been making major advancements and changes to our business since the beginning of 2020. We have moved to a new, larger facility in Detroit’s Eastern Market and have partnered with a large Michigan-based business to help manufacture our product to meet larger demand. We meticulously improved our process, allowing us to scale while maintaining the same, wonderful product you may know and love. This took plenty of time, collaboration, and investment to ensure we did not compromise quality over quantity. With the new facility, we are now capable of producing and selling our product across the Midwest region at retail stores and your favorite restaurants.

When COVID-19 arrived in Michigan in mid-March, we immediately paused our operations to make sure our employees and partners were able to stay healthy and take care of their families. We’ve carefully set new standards in place and have created new avenues to purchase our product. Stay tuned in the next coming days and weeks for information on how to enjoy our falafel.
